Is There a Disconnect Between Bhagwat’s Words and BJP’s Actions?

Mohan Bhagwat’s RSS Speech Highlights BJP’s Broken Promises, Says Sibal

Mohan Bhagwat talked a lot during Dussehra. He praised the government for some things. But what he didn’t say is maybe more important.

Usually, his speeches are a big deal every year. Before 2014, people didn’t care so much, only sometimes, depending on how much power RSS had. But now, everybody listens.

Mohan Bhagwat is good at using media and technology. He knows how to talk to people through phones, even videos. Makes it easier for more people to hear him.

Kapil Sibal said something the day after. He thinks there’s a big gap between what Bhagwat says and what the government does. Like, they don’t match. He pointed out that, after 2014, there’s been more division. Minorities got targeted, and bulldozers were used.

Sibal also asked why the RSS doesn’t say anything when bad things happen. He brought up stuff like “love jihad” and “flood jihad.” He wants the RSS to question these things, but they don’t.

The government should protect everyone, especially minorities and the Valmiki community, Sibal said. They’re scared, he added. He even talked about the murder of NCP’s Siddiqui and said how surprising it is that the RSS is silent when things like that happen.

Bhagwat, in his speech, said some stuff about “woke” people and Marxists. He blamed them for messing up culture, education, and creating problems.
